Since 2021, award-winning underwater photographer and ocean conservationist Vincent Kneefel has been on a mission to capture the breathtaking beauty and delicate fragility of iconic and endangered marine species, primarily using natural light to bring their stories to life. His work shines a spotlight on three critical threats facing our oceans: overfishing, ocean warming, and plastic pollution. Recognized as an official Decade Activity by the UN Ocean Decade, this transformative project is made possible through the generous support of key partner organizations. These powerful images are shared with leading conservation groups, including the United Nations, WWF and The Ocean Agency, amplifying global efforts to protect and restore marine ecosystems.
